In a highly regulated industry such as Private Security, the ability to differentiate and gain competitive advantage is impaired. One area where competitive advantage can be obtained is through better training. Better training allows a Company to deliver a non comparable service at a competitive price and thereby providing better value to all stakeholders.
Core to the achievement of our vision statement is the delivery of superior quality security officers, management and administrative support. Training is the basis upon which this superior quality is built.
Through our regional training centers which focus on security officer development and recruitment, together with our Management Development Programmes as well as our study assistance system, we aim to deliver on the delivery of superior service to our clients.
Bidvest Magnum views the development of employees as a business imperative rather than a requirement as prescribed by the Skills Development Act. We annually submit our Workplace Skills Plan and Annual Training Report and constantly ensure that we are accredited and updated on developments in skills development in our industry. Bidvest Magnum falls within the ambit of Sasseta. Our training centers are accredited with the relevant bodies in relation to the specific need.
